Mary Tolliver, 35, Killed; Hit By Car On Highway

Mrs. Ronnie (Mary) Tolliver, 35, of Louisville, was killed in a highway accident at the edge of Flora about 7:43 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 1994.     She was walking on the edge of the highway and was struck by a car. Mrs. Tolliver was dead at the scene.  She was the mother of Crystal Susan Tolliver of Fairfield and a sister of Jane Jennings, of Fairfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, with burial in Hoosier Cemetery, rural Louisville. Visitation at the Neal Funeral Home in Louisville will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Tolliver was a press operator for Polyfoam Packers Corp. at Flora.  She was born at Flora Oct. 8, 1959, the daughter of Frank and Betty Moats Tidwell.  On Nov. 8, 1985, she was married to Ronnie Tolliver.  Mrs. Tolliver was a member of the Flora Eagles and the Louisville American Legion Auxiliary.   Her parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Anthony Tolliver, of Clay City; and Thomas Keith Tolliver, of Louisville; one daughter, Crystal Susan Tolliver, of Fairfield; three brothers, Daniel Tidwell and Paul Tidwell, both of Louisville; and Mathew Tidwell of Flora; four sisters, Jane Jennings, of Fairfield; Beth Gard, of Iuka; Judy Tidwell of Flora; and Dana Carter, of Louisville; and one grandchild.

In an obituary sketck on Mary L. Tolliver, of Louisville, appearing in Monday's Press, the names of Anthony Tolliver and Crystal Susan Tolliver were incorrectly listed as her children; they are her stepchildren.The information appearing in Monday's Press was supplied by the funeral home.
