David Sims, 65, dies; Graveside Rites Are Held
 
Ralph David Sims, 65, of Fairfield, died at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1994, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion.   Mr. Sims was a retired factory worker.

Graveside services were held Monday afternoon (today) at Jacob's Chapel Cemetery at Orchardville, with full military rites. There was no visitation. The Hasselton Funeral Home at Cisne was in charge of arrangements.

He was born at Bedford, Ky., Nov. 21, 1928, the son of Richard and Mary Smith Sims.  Mr. Sims was a member of the Baptist faith and was a World War II and Koren Conflict veteran.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Preceding him in death were his father, two brothers and one sister.

 Surviving are his mother, Mary Sims, of Centralia; three sons, Edwin Sims, of Clay County, Ill.; Ralph Sims, Jr., of Centralia; and Gary Sims, of Orchardville; two daughters, Becky Garrison, of Oklahoma; and Mrs. Ron (Veronica) Quinn, of Louisville; one brother, Howard Sims, of Tennessee; two sisters, Mrs. Francis (Kathryn) White, of Gerard; and Anita Glore, of St. Louis, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
