Memorial graveside services for Harold Miles Simpson were conducted Sunday afternoon at Maple Hill Cemetery, with Rev. George Musgrave officiating.  The Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Simpson, 78, of Rt. 5, Fairfield, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 1994, at the Skilled Care Unit of Fairfield Memorial Hospital.  The body was cremated.

He was a carpenter and spent much of his adult life near Chicago. After retirement he and his wife, the former Dorothy Holman Dennis, moved back to Wayne County in 1987.

His survivors include his wife; seven brothers; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
