Guthrie (Gus) Dalton, 70, of Rockford, died at a hospital in that city about 10:30 Sunday evening, Oct. 9, 1994.  He was a brother of Charles and J. R. Dalton and Frances Galiher here.

Mr. Dalton had been hospitalized a couple of weeks with complications from emphysema.

Funeral plans were not immediately learned here.

Mr. Dalton was retired from Amrock. He was born in Crittendon County, Ky., March 25, 1924, the son of the late Jesse and Grace Dalton.

Surviving are his wife, Joy; a son, Greg, of Rockford; a daughter, Nancy Magdaleno, of California; two brothers, J. R. and Charles Dalton, of Fairfield; and a sister, Frances Galiher, of Fairfield.
