Robert (Bob) Bolen, 50, Dies At Clay County Hospital

Robert (Bob) Bolen, 50, of Clay City, died at 2:33 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 1994, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.  He had a heart condition.  Mr. Bolen, a native of Cisne, was co-owner of Party Pak & Co., at Clay City.

Funeral rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with Rev. Brad Henson officiating. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hosselton Funeral Home. There will be full military rites at the gravesite.

He was born at Cisne Nov. 28, 1943, the son of Roy and Mina Mayes Bolen.  Mr. Bolen served in the U.S.Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 590 at Albion and of the Flora Moose Lodge.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.  Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Brad (Angela) Brewer, of Mt. Carmel; a friend, Carol Wolfe, of Clay City; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Doug (Angie) Ford, of Lawrenceville; three stepsons, Curtis Wolfe, of Omega; Troy Wolfe, of Hampton, Va.; and Len Wolfe, of McDowell, Ga.; one sister, Allene Bolen, of Cisne; two brothers, John Bolen of Clear Lake, Wis.; and George Bolen, of Cisne; two grandchildren and eight stepgrandchildren.
