Louis (Bunk) Maricle Dies At Carmi;
Was 73

A well-known Carmi farmer, Louis ''Bunk" Maricle, 73, formerly of Springerton, died at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 1985, at Carmi Township Hospital.   Mr. Maricle was married to the former Carrie Duckworth, a Mill Shoals resident.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elledge Funeral Home, Enfield, with Bro. Rufus Gerkin officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery at Enfield.  Visitation for Mr. Maricle will be conducted after 2 p.m.  Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Maricle was born in White county Sept. 5, 1911, the son of Leonard and Cora Cora Gordon Maricle.  He was married to Carrie Duckworth June 20, 1936.  Mr. Maricle was a member of Ashland Christian Church near Springerton.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Maricle, of Carmi; three sons, Chester Maricle, of Peoria; Gary and Jack Maricle, both of Carrni; one daughter, Mrs. Martha Lloyd, of Jacksonville, Fla., five brothers. George Maricle, of Flint Mich.; Wilber Maricle, of Dumferlin, Kenneth, Dale and Doyal Maricle, all of Peoria; one sister, Mrs. Leoda Segler, of Peoria; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

 He was preceded in death one son.
