Bernice C. Howe Dies At Rinard Home;  Was 68

A well known Rinard area man, Bernice C. Howe, 68, died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1985, at his home.   Mr. Howe, who was a retired farmer and salesman for Moarman Manufacturing, had been in declining health, the Press was told. He'd been ill for quite some time.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with burial in the Willow Branch cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Howe was born in Wayne county on Dec. 9, 1916, the son of Curtis and Bessie  (Cunningham) Howe.   He was married to Ruth Bullard on Mar. 5, 1983, in Dixon, Ky. She survives.

Mr. Howe was a member of the Anthony Doherty No. 1111 Masonic Lodge and theRinard Ruritan Club. He attended the church of the Nazarene in Flora.

Surviving are his widow, Ruth; two sons, Curtis and John, both of Rinard; two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Linda) Welty, of Xenia; Mrs. Allen (Kathy) Michels, of Cisne; one sister, Chloe Howe, of Flora, six grandchildren and one great- grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
