Brother Of Lucille Eckleberry Dies At Olney; Rites There

John Elmer Beal, 67, of Olney, died Sunday, Apr. 28, 1996, at Burgin Manor Nursing Home in that city.   He was a brother of Lucille Eckelberry, of Mill Shoals.   Mr. Beal was a TV repairman and postal worker.

Funeral rites were conducted Wednesday morning from the Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney, with Bro. Bill Cox officiating.  Interment was in Haven Hill Cemetery at Olney, with full military rites. Visitation was conducted Tuesday, night.

 He was born in Knox County Jan. 15, 1929, the son of Gilbert Ray and Anna Loudermilk Beal.  On July 27, 1947, he was married to Virginia Hudson. She died June 18, 1980.  Later he was married to Dorothy Eberhardt. She died July 23, 1994.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Olney Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are a son, Phillip Beal, of Mt. Carmel; two daughters, Martha Holstlaw, of Olney, and Debra Bagwell, of Aundas; two step-daughters, Lora Jackson, of Gage, Okla.; and Nancy Sager, of Shattuck, Okla.; two brothers, Clarence Beal, of Noble; and Gene Osborn, of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Ruth Heckler, of Sumner; and Lucille Eckleberry, of Mill Shoals; and five grandchildren.
