Final Rites For Billy Ray Garner.

Funeral services for Billy Ray Garner, 28-year-old Wayne City oil worker who drowned in a pond near Sims Saturday night, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wayne City Baptist Church.  The ministers officiating will be Bro. Oakley Miller and Bro. Everett Lemay, with interment in Centerville cemetery near Burnt Prairie.

Visitation will be at the Richardson Chapel in Wayne City after six o'clock Monday evening (tonight).

Billy Ray Garner was born in Wayne county Nov. 19, 1955, the son of Louisand Jeanine Garner Jordan.  He graduated from Wayne City High School in 1973 and was a member of the Wayne City Baptist Church. Mr. Garner was employed with the Les Wilson Drilling Company.

Surviving are his parents Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jordan, of Burnt Prairie; a grandmother, Mrs. Leona Garner, Wayne City; a great-grandmother, Mrs. Nora Garner, of Wayne City; two sisters, Pam Steiner, of Shrever, La.; and Linda Jordan, Burnt Prairie; a half-brother, Lowell Ray Jordan, of Burnt Prairie; and three half-sisters, Shirley Jordan, of Burnt Prairie; and Mary Alice Shivers and Treasis Jordan, both of Texas.
