Louise Johnson, 87, Belle Rive, died at 3 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007, at her residence.

Louise enjoyed quilting and was of the Baptist faith.

She was born Oct. 23, 1919, in Streator, Ill., to John and Ann (Spisak) Fialko. Louise married Henry Johnson who preceded her in death March 13, 2004.

Among her survivors are: four daughters. Mary Ann (Gabe) Cross, Dahlgren; Dorothy (Kenny) Wilson, Bonnie; Debbie (James) Parkhill, Belle Rive; and Sandy Smith of Belle Rive; three sons, David (Barbara) Johnson, Belle Rive; Clarie (Eve) Johnson, Mt. Vernon, and Henry (Cathy) Johnson Jr., Belle Rive; two sisters, Annie Harcar, Streator, and Jeannie Marcella (Bill) Green, Streator; and a brother-in-law, Charles Lee (Mary Ellen) Johnson, Mt. Vernon; 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter (Linda Wolfe,)
three sisters, three brothers, a brother-in-law and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Harre Funeral Home in
McLeansboro. Graveside services are 10 a.m., Monday, July 23, at Prospect
Cemetery east of McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating.

Memorials may be made to Prospect Cemetery and will be accepted at Harre
Funeral Home.
