Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Richardson Funeral Home, of Wayne City, with Rev. Melvin Chambliss and Rev. H.H. Mayberry officiating. Burial was in the Garrison Cemetery near Aden.

Guy Raymond "Flick" Smith, 70 a rural Dahlgren resident, the father of Bobby Smith, of Faifield, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday at Good Samaritan Hospital at Mt. Vernon.
He was a retired factory worker at Airtex.

Mr. Smith was born in Wayne county September 12, 1912, the son of Grover and Lochie (Jones) Smith. He was married to the former Flora Mitchell
The Survivors
Survivors are his wife, Flora, of Dahlgren; four sons, Bobby Smith of Fairfield; Gary Smith of Romeoville; Jack Smith and Tom Smith, both of Wayne City; two daughters, Audrey Crockett, of Worland Wyo. Deloris White of Wayne City; one brother Kirby Smith, of Wayne City; three sisters Hazel Lane, of Dahlgren; Alma Marshel, of Sims; Bonnie Rayburn, of Bristow Okla.; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
