Brother Killed

Mrs. Gladys Onstott, deputy county clerk, is in Carthage, Mo., where on Tuesday afternoon she will attend the funeral for her brother, Paul Rosenbaum, 71, who was struck by a car a week earlier.

Mr. and Mrs. Rosenbaum were getting into their car parked at the curb, and as Mr. Rosenbaum walked around the front of his car to the driver's side, another car ran into their car. striking Mr. Rosenbaum.

Later, at a hospital in Joplin, Mo., he underwent emergency brain surgery and treatment for a broken leg and arm. He died Sunday morning.

The Rosenbaums had visited the Onstotts in Fairfield many times and had friends here.

The body is at the Kenell Funeral Home in Carthage.  Mr. and Mrs.  James Onstott left Monday (today) for Carthage to attend the funeral. Mrs. Onstott went to Carthage Friday.

The widow, a son, Jerry, of Little Rock, Ark.; and a daughter. Paula Ann Turner; of Carthage Survive.
