Mrs. May Ressler, 96, a resident of Cisne Manor for a number of years, died there at 1:45 a.m. Friday.  Her death was attributed to causes incident to her advanced age.

Funeral services were conducted Monday morning (today) from the Hosselton Funeral Home, with Rev. Nolan Eubank officiating. Interment was in Cisne Cemetery.

She was the widow of Charles P. Ressler, who died in December of 1956.    May, daughter of Seymour and Viola Jane Johnson Brown, was born in Wayne county May 29, 1886.    She was married to Mr. Ressler in Cisne in 1915.  Mrs. Ressler was a member of the Cisne United Methodist church

Surviving are a step-son, C. A. Ressler. of Largo, Fla.; two brothers, Clyde Brown, of Quincy: and Bernard Brown, of Evanston; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Gillespie, of Centralia; and Mrs. Clara Knodell, of Bismark, N. Dak.; 2 grandchildren;  8 great-grandchildren.
