Final rites for Robert Ray Morris, 81, father of Mrs. Kenneth B. Hammack, of Fairfield, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cardascio Funeral Home in Flora.   Burial was in the Powers Church Cemetery southwest of Xenia.    Mr. Morris died Monday in Flora from a heart attack.

He was born in the Brush Creek area Jan. 5, 1895, one of eight children born to Robert and Rosetta (Watson) Morris.

On Jan. 2, 1918, he was married to Bonnie Henson and they were parents of three children, Robert, of Flora, and Eileen Hammack, of Fairfield. one son, Eugene, died in infancy.

Mr. Morris and his wife lived on a farm in the Garden Hill township until he retired from farming in 1958. At that time, they moved to Flora.

He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Flora and was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion Post in Xenia.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years; his two children; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Verner, of Johnsonville, and Russell, of Davenport, Ia; and one sister, Mrs. Heppie Burkett, of near Xenia.
