George Schindler, 71, of Williamsburg,  Ia., died at 7:30 Friday night from a malignency.

He was a brother-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Mathes, Mrs. Leone Shelton, of Fairfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Walker, of Geff

Services were conducted Monday (today) in Williamsburg at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Williamsburg Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Della; two sons, Willard and Gene, of Williamsburg; one daughter, Mrs. Bill (June) Benoon, of Peoria; 10 grandchildren.
